Comments: Evergreen hardwood native to Santa Catalina Island,California. Tree has distinctive fern like leaves, small white flowers and redish bark. Mature trees to 35' height. Introduced to gardening by Dr. Francisco Franceschi, an early California nurseryman. This tree is endangered in its natural habitat.
